How long will Sweet Muse brownies stay fresh?
Sweet Muse brownies are baked with the finest natural ingredients and never include any preservatives. For maximum enjoyment we suggest that you indulge in your brownies within one week. However, they will last up to two weeks stored at room temperature, away from direct sun or heat. You may put them in the refrigerator and they will last 2-3 weeks longer. Some people love their Sweet Muse brownies chilled. Freeze them in a zip-lock bag or air-tight container and they will last up to 3 months, ready to be served as an impromptu desert. Just leave at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to thaw.
We are aware that some people are allergic to products and especially to nuts. All of our Sweet Muse brownies include dairy, eggs, and wheat flour. We use nuts, including peanuts, in several of our brownie flavors. We also use some ingredients that are processed in plants that have peanuts on premises. We suggest that if you or the recipient is highly allergic to peanuts or tree nuts, that you do not eat our brownies.
Can I microwave the brownies?
Yes! The brownies are delicious heated. Remove the cellophane and heat them for 30 seconds or less at first. Top with your favorite ice cream to create a super yummy treat!
How long does it take a package to arrive?
We typically use US Post Office Priority Mail service, which takes 2-3 days. However, we can not specify an exact arrival date and Priority Mail packages cannot be tracked. If you require that the package be tracked, we can arrange to ship your package by Federal Express or UPS.
What if I need my order to arrive on a specific date?
The only way for us to "guarantee" an exact arrival date is to ship by Federal Express or UPS overnight. There will be an additional shipment cost.
Do you ship outside the US?
Presently, Sweet Muse ships only to addresses within the US.
Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
We prefer not to ship to P.O. Boxes as we want to ensure that the brownies are received as fresh as possible. However, USPS will deliver a package to a P.O. Box so we will ship there if that's your preference.
My package didnâ€™t arrive, now what?
Please be careful when providing shipping addresses. If you provided an incorrect address or the package is refused by the recipient and the package is returned to us, you will be notified. If you would like, we will provide new brownies at 1/2 price; but, you will be responsible for the full price on shipment costs. If Sweet Muse put an incorrect address on the package, we will either refund your costs or ship a new package at no charge to you.
Is the arrival date guaranteed?
Occasionally a package gets delayed because of weather or an unforeseen natural or un-natural occurrence. Sweet Muse, the US Post Office (or any other carrier) cannot be held responsible for the delays caused by "Acts of God".
How soon should I place my order?
Please place your order as soon as you have all information about where your order is going, what you would like, and when you would like it to arrive. Particularly for large orders, it is helpful to have your information at least a week in advance and we will wait to bake your order just before the scheduled shipping date to make sure it is as fresh as possible. Most orders can be prepared and ready for shipping within two days of placing your order.
What about December orders?
Sweet Muse gets very busy in December and we suggest contacting us as early as possible. There is no such thing as too early to order for the busy holiday gift-giving season. Orders that need to arrive by December 25th, 2008 should be placed no later than December 18th.
Do you accept wholesale and corporate orders?

What about refunds?
Since brownies are perishable, we do not offer returns or refunds unless Sweet Muse has made a mistake on your order.SPECIAL REQUESTS
May I request specific brownie flavors in a gift tin or gift box?
Yes, let us know what selection you would like when ordering. You can also choose to let Sweet Muse provide you with a baker's selection, which will provide you with a sampling of many flavors.
Will you include a gift card with the order?
We would be happy to include a free gift card. When you order, just let us know what you would like the card to say.
May I have my business card included in the order?
Certainly. We will need the cards at least two days before the order is scheduled to ship. Please call us to arrange the details at 212-874-2801.
Will you fill my gift box or gift basket with Sweet Muse brownies?
